THE EFFECTS OF THE ACTIVITIES BASED ONCONSTRUCTIVIST APPROACH ON STUDENTSBEHAVIORS TOWARDS SOCIAL STUDIES
Abstract :
The main objective of this research is to determine the influences of the ConstructiveActivities on students’ attitudes towards Social Studies. The working group includes 25students studying at Atatürk primary school in 6-B class in Ankara Sincan during 2010- 2011Academic year consisting of 15 females and 10 male students. The research was carried outwith the “one-group pre-test post-test experimental design” as for analyzing the results,frequency, percentage and t test were used. The analyses of the data obtained from theresearch were performed with the use of computer SPSS 18:00 Statistic packaged softwareThe measure of being meaningful is determined as 0,05. The results obtained from theresearch showed that the activities and implementations based on Constructivist Approachhave a positive effect on students’ behaviors towards Social Studies.
