Abstract :
The first novel written by Ahmet Bican Ercilasun mainly based on the cultural environment in which the author has grown and the wishes longed for Turkish clons. Throughout the book, the style of Turkish epics is possible to see; besides, by using the characteristics of the two protagonists: Gulnar and Oguz, he criticises the Turkish clons which are about to forget their national characteristics and auts them to gather under one common flag.In this study It is aimed to realize the target with the help of the thoughts emphasized in the novel and the style which the author has used through the book Gülnar.
