Most of time, didactic works that have an important aggregate in Classical Turkish Literature have been mostly written in verse. The most important reason for this is that poetry is easy to memorize and it can reach the large masses as well as being easier to remember. Therefore, works from dictionary to fıkıh(İslamic law) which are valuable for society, have been written in verse or changed into verse. In this article, we will deal with Deli Birâder Gazâlî‟s life, who lived in 16th century and have an interesting role in our literature with his life and works, using the all works written about him and we will introduce his works, Miftâhu’l-Hidâye in which he translated in verse some part of Hidâye Şerhu Bidâyetü’l-Mübtedi, the work of one of the Hanefî scribes Mergînânî. Moreover, in this study we will present the text narrated in modern-day alphabet.
