Classroom Management in Visual Art Education: A Model of Qualitative Research
Abstract :
Classroom management involves systematically planning, organizing, applying, and evaluating certain principles, concepts, models and methods in order to attain expected educational goals. Managing and organizing the instructional environment are among the major responsibilities of a teacher. The teacher is also the most significant factor in the process of realizing educational goals. The aim of this research is to find out the classroom management approaches of art education teachers’ work in secondary education. Among qualitative research methods, case study pattern and typical case sampling methods were used in this study. Traditionally, it can be said that classroom management is accepted as keeping the discipline in our educational system. Therefore, most of the researches are on the behavior modification and human relations dimensions of classroom management.
