Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to investigate througly the bound between the level of KPSS success and academic graduation average point. Academic average and KPSS points of 330 teacher candidates graduated from Kocaeli University in the academic year of 2008-2009 were used in this research based on relational survey model. Not only weak but also strong relations were defined as a result of different analysis done between the academic average and KPSS success. It can be generally said that the relation between the graduation average and the success of Educational Science was high on the other the relation between the success of General Skills and General Culture was low. Moreover, when the related analysis were applied one by one for each branch, it was defined that the values changed between %21 and %12, whereas the academic average could explain the %10 of the total variation related to KPSS point. It is expected that the results of the research can assist in the studies aimed to improve KPSS and the instructional programmes which have been taught in Education Faculty.
