Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the views of instrument teachers in Antalya about teaching methods, student characteristics, measure evaluation and to expose the similarities and discrapencies in their approaches in instrument education. Interviews were made with 17 instrument teachers. The results indicated that instrument teachers consider student level while planning their lessons and found planning beneficial to use the time effective to achieve lesson goals easily. Teachers told that their teaching methods were expression, giving examples, implementation, induction and deduction. They also emphasized that while evaluating the students, they consider their attitudes and the balance between student level and curriculum.
