The Predictors of Cyberbullying and Cybervictimization in Elemantary School Students

The purpose of this research is to examine the predictors of cyberbullying and victimization in elemantary school students. 231 elementary school students (54,5 % female, 45,5 % male) were involved in this research. Data were gathered through Personal Information Form and Cyber Victim and Bullying Scale. Results of this study revealed that children’s perception of their mothers’ and fathers’ internet literacy level, education level of mothers and fathers, and parental monitoring predicted cyber bullying. Cyber victimization was predicted exclusively by gender. Results of this study was discussed in the light of the literature.
