The Evaluation of Reflective Thinking Tendency of Primary School Teachers in Science and Technology Courses
Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to determine the trends of elementary teachers reflective thinking in science and technology courses. In this research, fact science, one of the the qualitative research design was used. The data of this study was collected with the semi-structures interviev form consisting of four open ended questions and analysed using “contat analysis” techniques. The research data was collected with ten class teacher’s, teaching science and technology lessons who work in the province of Afyonkarahisar. According to the result of this research; (1) The participants think reflectively general (seven out of ten respondents) science and technology courses for the process of teaching and learning. (2) The participants do not think reflectively mostly(six out of ten respondents) related to methods and techniques used in science and technology courses (3) The participants think reflectively mostly (six out of ten respondents) related to measurements tools used in science and tecnology courses (4) The majority of participants (six out of ten respondents) make inference by making self-critism related to the quality of offered education and traning services.
