Lifelong Learning Scale (LLLS): Validity and Reliability Study
Abstract :
The aim of this study is to develop lifelong learning scale based on the perceptions of lifelong learning institution directors. The study group is composed of 372 lifelong learning institution directors from a total of 18 provinces, who participated in the Turkey Adult Learning Project Workshop on April 15 to 16 and 21 to 22 April, 2014 (Groups 1 and 3). In the analysis of the data, SPSS 18.00 and LISREL 8.7 software package were used. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach Alfa, Spearman-Brown and Guttman Split Half reliability analysis were employed for, respectively, structural validity and reliability of the scale. According to research results, lifelong learning scale is a valid and reliable scale consisting of 4 dimensions and 28 items.
