Leiomyosarcoma of the Inferior Vena Cava

Inferior vena cava leiomyosarcoma, which is a rare disease, is most commonly seen in females. Early diagnosis of the disease is very difficult due to the fact that its clinical signs are very nonspecific. Here we present the radiological features of the primary and metastatic lesions of this tumor. It is interesting to note that, although radical resection could not be performed, our patient had a long survival.
