Abstract :
Although a significant number of studies concerning acute rumen acidosis have been conducted so far, there is a paucity of information on latent acidotic stress. This study was therefore carried out to provide literature knowledge about the aetiology, pathogenesis, clinical signs, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of this disease which is prevalent and economically significant in cattle, particularly dairy cattle, industry.
