Abstract
This study was carried out to investigate the specific anatomical features of the bones forming neurocranium in the wild boars. A total of five animals were used regardless of the gender. Neurocranium was consisted of os occipitale, os sphenoidale, os pterygoideum, os ethmoidale, vomer, os temporale, os parietale and os frontale. The jugular process projected ventrally. The external sagittal crest was absent. The temporal line divided the os parietale into parietal plane and temporal plane. The interparietal bone fused the squamous part of occipital bone. The mastoid process was indistinct. In conclusion, it was determined that macroscopically, the bones forming neurocranium was similar to domestic pig.
