Determination of Environmental Attitudes of Primary School 5th Grade Students
Abstract :
In this study it is aimed to measure the attitudes of primary school 5th grade students towards environment. Survey model is used in the research. The study is carried out in Mev 60. Yıl Uçanevler primary schools in the Bağcılar district in İstanbul city in the second term of 2010–2011. The sample of the study consists of 139 students attending to the 5th grades in the randomly chosen classes. The reliability of the scale is found α=0,860. The obtained data is evaluated by descriptive statistical techniques. In the study, in the analysis of the data gathered with mean, frequency, and percent were used. Test is used to compare the differences of items and attitude points of the classes. At the end of analysis, 5th classes were found to be generally positive attitudes of the total environment.
