Teaching to the Preschool Children (60-72 Months) Space Concepts
Abstract :
The aim of this study is trying to find the answer to this question: “How can we teach 60-72 months old children space concepts more efficiently?”. This study is conducted by using pretest-posttest empirical pattern with control group in accordance with quantitative research methods. The research pool consists of 2010-2011 semester students studying at Gazi College of Education Application Pre-School, Yenimahalle, Ankara and students studying at Orhan Gazi Elementary School, Yenimahalle, Ankara. As data collection tools, “achievement test of space concepts” are used. Obtained Data is analyzed by using SPSS software. As a result of these analysis, %51,3 children firstly learned space concepts from family.
