Abstract :
This paper discusses ethical problems in the mass media, and presents the role ethics education can play in solving these problems. The study comprises ethical problems related to internet, internet crimes, television, media-democracy relationship, and ethics theories that provide a basis for ethics education. The study underlines the fact that ethical problems in the mass media cannot be solved only with media literacy, but ethics and human rights education is also crucial.
