Abstract :
With this study it is aimed to determine the attitudes of pre-service teachers educated in Primary School Mathematics Teaching towards the Instructional Technologies and Materials Design (ITMD) lesson and present their opinions about the gains of the lesson. In this context, the study is conducted with a descriptive approach, and qualitative and quantitative methods are combined. The data of the study is gathered in ITMD classes. 186 pre-service teachers attending the class are participants of the study. As a data gathering device, in order to determine the attitudes of pre- service teachers, “attitude scale for instructional technologies and materials design” and “written opinion form” are used. At the end of the research, in their written opinion forms, pre-service teachers stated that the biggest contribution of ITMD lesson for them is giving them the experience and feeling of being a teacher. In ITMD classes, pre-service teachers should be given the opportunity of presenting and sharing their homework.
