Relationship between Ethical Leadership Behaviors of School Administrators and Teachers Perceptions about Organizational Cynicism
Abstract :
The aim of this study is to explain, according to primary school teachers’ opinion, the ethical leadership behaviors of school administrators as well as teachers’ perceptions of organizational cynicism according to some variables and to determine the relationship between them. The universe of this study is the primary schools located in the central district of Sivas. The study sample consists of 312 teachers. Ethical leadership and organizational cynicism scales were used to collect the data. The t-test, One-Way ANOVA and Pearson Correlation Coefficient was applied for the evaluation of the data. It was found that there was a medium negative significant relationships between teachers’ perception about ethical leadership and organizational cynicism.
