Analysis of Student Dynamism into Learning Management System through Data Mining Methods
Abstract :
In this study, undergraduates were examined to discover the connection between their dynamism into Learning Management System (LMS) and their levels of achievement with using the data mining methods. In this regard, the study was designed in accordance with relational screening model and it is descriptive and quantitative. The research includes 40 pupils who took the course Instructional Technologies and Material Design during spring semester and resided in Baskent University Institute of Education Sciences Pedagogical Formation Certification Program throughout 2012-2013 academic years. Students’ academic achievement grades and log registrations placing in LMS which shows related year’s access were used as data source. Depending upon the findings which were acquired at the end of the study, it was revealed that there is a meaningful connection between the activities on LMS and the academic achievement levels of students.
