Abstract
In current age, organizations assume important roles in our daily lives and in a sense, the society is consisted of a group of organizations. Facts like globalization and competition carry organizations to new and different searches and this situation requires employees of an organization to take over more different responsibilities and show different performance. Organizational Citizenship concept that has recently been worked on in management literature, accepted as important concept for efficiency and effectiveness of organizations. In light of the abovementioned information, this study aims to identify organizational citizenship behavior of frontline employees of hotel operations in Ankara and if this citizenship behavior differs according to gender. The results demonstrate that, front line employees show citizenship behaviors and these behaviors differ according to their gender.
