Abstract
In this study, the opinions of primary school teacher candidates about the teaching staff guiding teaching practice course have been analysed. The study has been carried out on 75 students studying at Primary School Teaching Department of the Faculty of Education at Mustafa Kemal University. The research is a descriptive study. Frequency and percentile among statistical operations have been used for the analysis of data obtained in the study. As a result of the study, it has been observed that teacher candidates have not found the teaching staff guiding the course adequate, and they have not believed that they fulfill their duties during the course. Moreover, it has appeared that during the course, primary school teachers generally treat them as if they were not teachers and they want the teaching staff to guide them.
