Abstract :
The aim of the paper is to show that the theory of evolution, as it is taught throughout decades in our educational institutions, has nothing to do with science, from a contemporary epistemological perspective. In fact, from a contemporary epistemology, Darwinism is not simply non-scientific, but it has been the greatest obstacle for further scientific progress, regarding our origin and the origin of life. The authoritative attitude of the dissent scientists and pro-dogmatic scientific and educational institutions of today, have blocked the way for further scientific analysis and discussions as regards the problem of evolution.
