Abstract :
In this research, the effect of the students’ acquisition of social-cultural values at school activities has been analyzed.With this aim the data has been obtained from 276 students at the 7th grade at primary school and 210 students at the faculty of education. Student information pack and scale of social-cultural values have been used in this study. The scale was developed by the researcher.There are 50-items at of social-cultural values scale. By explanatory factor analysis the scale has 8 subscale and Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin Measure of Sampling Adequacy .885; df=1275 Bartlett s Test of Sphericity 13455,325 was calculated like this. The Scale’s Cronbach Alfa coefficient of consistence is r.93 and subscales’s reliability co-efficient changes between r.51 and r.82. Assessment and evaluation instrument aimed at the determining the frequency of using achievements related to values and the institutions effective in the process. The criteria for the assessment has based on family, school, social-cultural activities, friends and the media. The acquisition of values has been analyzed according to students’ gender, school level and level of participation in social activities, acquisitions of values. Students opinions have been analyzed by SPSS package .As a result of the analysis family role by acquisition of values is more important than other social interaction fields and social activities at schools is very low. Some proposals making social-cultural facilities applied in the second stage of primary school and the faculty of education functional have been brought forward.Social cultural value, training program, curriculum, hidden curriculum
