Changing of Characteristics of Common Places and Facilities in Flat Ownership
Abstract :
Independent units, land share, common places and facilities are the concepts that underpin the flat ownership. Both in classical flat ownership and housing sites, places and things, whose costs and expenses are flat owners responsibility, which are allocated for the collective management and use of flat owners, are featured as common places and facilities. What the common places and facilities are determined by Flat Ownership Act. Besides, a place or a thing can be qualified as a common place or facility by allocation or by its own qualities. In this study, it is examined whether Flat Ownership Act s rules regulating common places and facilities are compulsory and which ones of those common places and facilities can be converted to an independent unit or an accessory and the procedures to be followed.
