Abstract :
This article examines the crime of useing another’s identity card or information regulated by the Article 268 of the Turkish Penal Code. This article analyses any person who uses another’s identity card or information relating to the identity of another for the purpose of preveting the conduct of an investigation and prosecution aganist himself for an offence he has committed shall be sentenced according to the provisions relating to the offence of calumny.
