When the third parties are deprived of their means of support as a result of death (homicide), they must be compensated for that loss. Loss suffered by third parties is a reflex damage and according to the general rule there is no compensation claim for reflex damage. However, the legislative makes the compensation claim possible by legislating an exceptional provision. Asthere is an exceptional provision the elements of compensation claim must restrictedly interpreted.
