Abstract :
Societies have changed rapidly with the development in the information and communication technology. As we think about the inefficiency of traditional instruction to overcome the obstacles in the teaching process, one of the best approaches is the utilization of information and communication technology. Computer assisted education has been gaining acceptance as one of the technology used effectively in education systems and tablet PC’s have an important situation in this approach. In this study, research assistants’ views (in Trabzon) about using tablet PC in education are analyzed. Considering the results, the majority of research assistants think that using tablet computers will improve student achievement. Tablet computers are useful to students as they will provide much faster and easier access to information. Students are at any moment the hand of the internet thanks to tablet pc. Tablet computer use in education is suitable for constructivist education approach and it serves understanding of the students centered service.
