ANALYSIS OF YAHYA KEMAL BEYATLI’S POEM “SÜLEYMANİYE’DE BAYRAM SABAHI” FROM THE POINT OF NOVEL COMPONENTS

Yahya Kemal Beyatlı is a very important person who leaves his mark on especially post-republican Turkish poetry. Yahya Kemal Beyatlı who is representative of pure poetry uses pure, harmonious, picky language and style in his poems. This master of language who does not accept the poem as finished without finding the right word and always pursues the perfection also handles the historical atmosphere of our nation, national feeling and notion with a great attention in his poems. Yahya Kemal Beyatlı who argues that the progress can only be made with integration of a nation and its history draws the method of progress by saying “kökü mazide olan atiyim” Yahya Kemal Beyatlı handles the themes that address to national and moral feelings, have both didactic and pragmatist components and aim to improve positive sense and behavioral change to history on his poems. The poem “Süleymaniye’de Bayram Sabahı” that we analyze also has the characteristic of historical story that addresses to national and moral feelings, consists of plot, time, characters and historical components. In this context, our study aims to examine Yahya Kemal Beyatlı’s poem “Süleymaniye’de Bayram Sabahı” according to construction and provision, with the analysis method. The poem “Süleymaniye’de Bayram Sabahı” will be handled with the same titles that are used in examining a novel.
