Abstract :
Early 1960s French linguists and semiotischens like Barthes, Greimas, Bremond took the language in social and cultural contexs values made the consept of discurse easy to be reached. The issues of linguists in Germany and the other European countries about the subject increased at the begining of 1970s. But discourse analysis started improving in our country in 2000s. In this article Mehmet Akif Ersoy’s poem “Âtiyi Karanlık Görerek Azmi Bırakmak” will be analyzed.
