MORAL ANXIETY BASED NARRATIVE IN NAMIK KEMAL: İNTİBAH AND AHLÂK-İ ALÂÎ
Abstract :
This article intends to examine Namık Kemal s novelism with Ġntibah for the first time, an intensive ethical concern, in the context of writing the text. Considering the views of Namık Kemal as a moral text to Ahlâk al-Alâî and the types he tried to establish in Intibah; It is seen that at the beginning of the issues related to the social life of Tanzimat renewal, ethics is a social, political and rhetorical field of inquiry. In this context, İntibah, while expressing new life concerns in moral terms; a source and method problem does not escape the attention of the Namık Kemal center. The practice of applying a new moral conception for the new life is worth discussing as a fact to be considered and questioned.
