ANATOLIA AS A PLACE IN TARIK BUGRA’S LITTLE AGA NOVEL
Abstract :
For centuries, the litterateur who grows up in big cities especially in Istanbul has always considered Anatolia as a place which is not a nice destination to visit or to go. For this reason, Anatolia was rarely presented in Turkish novel for a long time. Anatolia‟s being a broad subject in Turkish novel occurs just in the period of War of Independence (1919-1923) and in the period of Republic. As a Turkish novelist, who was born and was brought up in an Anatolian town, Tarik Bugra expresses this place which he also knows very well skillfully. In this article, Anatolia is going to be investigated as the setting of Tarik Bugra‟s novel, Little Aga.
