Abstract :
Ilhan Berk, who ise one of the most prominent names in modern Turkish poetry, lived his chilhood and youth years in Manisa. In his work entitled “A Tall Man”, the poet included his Manisa memories. These memories have a significant importance for Manisa studies, because they shed light on Manisa in 1920s and 1930s. In this article, we will deal with Ilhan Berk s chilhood and youth memories in this respect.
