Abstract :
In this research study opinions about the Faculty and School Collaboration mentorship training course were obtained from the mentor teachers. For this reason, 832 primary school classroom teacher mentors from all over Turkey were accessed to administer the course questionnaire. Out of 814 participants’ answers to the questionnaire the result was found as “positive” and/or “no idea”equally in terms with whether the course achieved its goal. The module “roles and responsibilities of participants”was stated as the topic that was greatly benefited from. While there were more opinions of “no idea” in whether the course programme is effective in training the mentors, it is concluded that such a programme is a necessity for educating efficient mentors. The mentors who viewed the programme as not necessary regarded the issue as negative due to the Professional experience they had.
