Ionians and the lonians Tribe Organization

The people that made the authority felt and laid the foundation of the civilization from 8th century B.C. in the Western Anatolia is the lonians. In this article we dealt with the information provided by the literature of the authors from the archaic period. We also studied to handle the lonians tribe organization that was not so much emphasized from the historical formation viewpoint. A part of the Ionians’ communities are recognized as separated in four different tribes like: Geleontes (the Nobles), Aigikoreis (the Shepherds), Argadeis (the Farmers) and Hopletes (the Warriors). Particularly giving the Ionians’ civic organization preferential consideration the Ionians immigrations are emphasized.
