Abstract :
The importance of scholarly journal management policies is increasing day by day in the digital publishing trend. In the study, with the help of the citation analysis based on the Web of Science database, up-to-date scientific collaborations and emerging issues in the field of History and Archeology have been put forward via bibliometric analysis. As a result of the analysis, it is concluded that the fields of History and Archeology have two different disciplines in terms of publication dynamics. The Belleten has been studied as a case study in order to demonstrate the relevance and suitability of the bibliometrics. As a result of the study, new publishing strategies have been proposed for the future, such as the necessity of visibility of publications in social and human sciences, which have different characteristics from other disciplines in terms of publication dynamics and resource utilization characteristics.
