Gene action for some agronomical traits in a bread wheat cross

Gene actions of some agronomic traits of the crosses derived from bread wheat varieties Golia and Atilla-12 were estimated using the generations P1, P2, F1, F2, BC1,1 and BC1,2. Genetic analyses were performed on the basis of six parameters method and joint scaling test with three parameters. It was determined that epistatic gene interactions also both additive (a) and dominance (d) gene actions were important for all characters observed in this trial. It was concluded that beginning to the selection for desired genotypes can be more effective after F2 generation.
