Pluralist agricultural extension system and its evaluation in Turkey
Abstract :
Pluralistic agricultural extension system is based on extension services to farmers by many institutions instead of one institution. For the successful results of pluralistic agricultural extension system has to be intense in cooperation among the stakeholders. Farmers in rural areas shows great differences in terms of production patterns, the problems and expectations. Doubtless more than one extension institution which are respond the farmers differences are useful for expectations of farmers. In this study pluralistic agricultural extension system, extension organizations of the countries which adopted the system and the situation in Turkey are determined.
