Evaluation of water user associations in Alasehir region in terms of land-water productivity and water supply
Abstract :
In this study, assessment of irrigation performance of Üzüm, Bağ ve Sarıgöl Irrigation Systems, which was put into operation by DSI and transferred to irrigation association in 1994–1995, were aimed in terms of soil-water productivity and water supply for 2001–2008. For this purpose, six comparative indicators proposed by the International Water Mangement Institute (IWMI) have been used. As a result of the study, output per cropped area, output per unit command, output per unit irrigation supply, output per unit water consumed, relative water supply and relative irrigation supply were determined as 5856 $ha^-1-5937 $ha^-1, 2450 $ha-1- 3709 $ha^-1, 1.17- 1.34 $m-3, 0.89- 0.92 $ m^-3, 0.69-1.04 and 1.20-1.72 respectively.
