Abstract :
In the experiment, it is purposed with the test to search the effect of the molybdenum which is applied in increasing doses in the nitrogen fixation of broad bean which is one of the important protein sources. It is executed in the non-heating, plastic covered conservatory which belongs to the Soil Department of the Agriculture Faculty in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Terzioğlu Campus, between the dates of October 15, 2009-February 11, 2010. The Eresen 87 broad bean sample is used as a search material. Five different doses of molybdenum (0; 0.05; 0.10; 0.15 and 0.20 ppm Mo) are applied as ammonium molibdat to the plants which are cultivated in pots. The parameters of branche number, plant length, root wet weight, root dry weight, root humidity, plant wet weight, plant dry weight, plant humidity, plant+root wet weight, plant+root dry weight, plant+root humidity, plant nitrogen amount, root nitrogen amount, rate, nitrogen amount which comes with the plant, nitrogen amount which comes with the root, soil nitrogen amount, nitrogen amount which comes with the soil and total nitrogen income are investigated. As a consequence; in the investigation, the nitrogen gain being at most in the molybdenum dose of 0.15 ppm is fixed.
