Title Of Article :
Effect of Potassium and Calcium Fertilization on Nutritional Status and Quality Parameters of Gladiolus (Gladiolus hortulanus L.)
Abstract :
The objective of the study was to examine the effect of differential supplies of potassium and calcium to the plant nutrients, spike length, stem length, the number of florets per spike, stem diameter and vase life of gladiolus. The applied levels of fertilizers were 12-24 g m^-2 for K2O and 6-12 g m^-2 CaO. The uptake of K and Ca by plant part were increased with increasing fertilizers levels and the quality of gladiolus which was found significant at 1% level.
