Title Of Article :
The Effect of Potassium Fertilization with Different Doses on Fruit Quality of Table Fig (Ficus carica L. cv Sarılop)
Abstract :
in this study, the effects of 6 different potassium (K) rates on quality of fig variety ‘cv Sarılop’ were investigated. K was applied to the fig trees at the concentrations of NP+150 K2O, NP+300 K2O, NP+450 K2O, NP+600 K2O, NP+750 K2O, NP+900 K2O as a soil application. K application had positive effect on the fruit skin L*, a* and b*values. It was observed that the increasing mean fruit weight in the applications of NP+750 K2O and NP+900 K2O. Total soluble solids significantly increased with K applications and the width of ostiol was higher in the K treated fig trees. However, K applications decreased the sun scald of fıg fruits, whereas increased the rate of cracking in fig fruits.
