Abstract
In this study, it is aimed to determine evapotranspiration values and irrigation scheduling programs for some plants widely grown in Izmir. Soil-water budget approach used for establishing compatible with the local conditions and the possible variations under different conditions such as adequate water is used. Reference evapotranspiration values were calculated by using Penman-Monteith (FAO Modification) Method for plants grown in Izmir. Irrigation programs were developed by IRSIS computer software which considers crop characteristics, climate and soil conditions, farmer requests, irrigation method and irrigation system characteristics for adequate water conditions.
