Abstract :
This research was conducted in Ondokuz Mayis University, Faculty of Agriculture, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 winter season in order to determine seed yield and some agronomic characters of some Camelina genotypes in Samsun ecological conditions. The experiment was conducted in randomized blocks trial design with 4 replications. The results of the research were evaluated in terms of plant height, number of branches per plant, number of capsules per plant, number of seeds per capsule, 1000-seed weight and seed yield. The conclusion of the statistical evaluation; genotype and genotype x year interactions were found to be significant in all characters examined except plant height As avarages of two years; plant height was found to be 63.33-75.36 cm, the number of branches per plant was 2.64-4.24, the number of capsules per plant was 46.80-108.59, the number of seeds per capsule was 7.46-9.78, 1000 seeds weight was 0.98-1.36 gr and the seed yield was 80.81-140.73 kg/da. As a result, among the genotypes evaluated: Ames 26680 (in terms of grain yield and 1000 seed weight), PI 304269 (number of branches per plant and number of capsules per plant), Vniimk 17 (number of seeds per capsule) and Ames 26665 (in terms of plant height) are more advantageous than other genotypes decided.
