Abstract :
Objective: In the study, provide rapid and homogenous germination of tobacco seeds which are difficult and irregular. Material ve Methods: Varieties of Birlik-125 and bzba tobacco seeds has been used in the study. Effective material, dosage, time and temperature has been determined for improve performance of tobacco germination. For this purpose, were carried out for-6, -12 and -18 MPa doses of PEG-6000, %1, 2 and 3 doses of KNQ3 and 1, 2 and 3 days in humidification treatments of 100% rational humidity environment. Seeds treated at of 15°C and 25°C were taken into the germination test and the treatment temperature, effective material, and dosage was determined. Results: Treatment effects of tobacco seeds shows changes according to temperature before sowing. l S°C treatment had high germination rate (-12 MPa PEG 6000 dose 89.0%) results was obtained in early, fast and homogenous germination (45.62 hours with 2% KNQ3 dosing) on both types of tobacco seeds. Again, at l S°C humidification treatment were reached the germination rate of 87.00% and the mean germination time (MGTI of 47.32 hours. Conclusion: It was determined that tobacco seeds would be subjected to humidification treatments for 3 days, along with -12 MPa PEG and 2% KNQ3 treatments before sowing seedlings or different seedling production so that germination occured early, fast and homogenous.
