Abstract :
In this basic study .the discussions around the meanings of ideology, which it has gained from the first time it is used till today, will be analyzed. Ideology is one of the notions that describing it is very hard. In this study, it is not aimed to make some evaluations on the nature and meaning of ideology. New suggestions about the current meaning and· fonns ofthe notion of ideology will be subject of another article.
