Abstract :
Political power’s ability to connect Gezi Park Protests to “interest rate lobby” and Jewish diaspora, create a necessity to carry out a more critical reading on regard to identification of conspiracy theories mostly with Jews in social and political spaces and role of conspiracy culture in Turkish Politics. In such, popular conspiracy theories, which construct Jews as the main actors, normalize anti-Semitism at the social level by clearing the way for political space and language without responding any exposure. Within this context, the purpose of this article is to discuss general characteristics of social and political context that provides continuous reproduction of organic link between Jewish figure as an esoteric enemy and conspiracy mindset in the social imagination with special reference to the Turkish Politics; afterwards, Pierre- André Taguieff ’s work “L’imaginaire du complot mondial. Aspects d’un mythe moderne.” will critically analyzed in the belief that to make significant contributions to understand aforementioned relation.
