Abstract :
Intussusception of the appendix is a rare condition. As the symptoms can mixed with acute apandicitis, the diagnosis is difficult both clinically and radiologically at the preoperative period. This article reports a case of appendiceal intussusception who was presented as acute abdomen. Although diagnostic imaging was improved, sometimes preoperative findings are not enough helpful for the diagnosis. Therefore doctors should consider alternative diagnosis such as appendicitis, tumor in addition to intussusception at acute abdomen .
