Abstract :
Obturator hernia is a rare hernia, which causes small bowel obstruction and usually needs early surgical intervention. Its diagnosis is difficult because of nonspecific symptoms and findings. In the past, obturator hernia was diagnosed during the operation but now we can determine it by computer tomography (CT Scan) before the operation. This article presents a rare case of obturator hernia because late diagnosis causes high mortality and morbidity.
