Effects of Teachers’ Work Values on Organizational Justice Perceptions

Abstract
This research aims to define the relation between work values and organizational justice perception of union member teachers. The research, carried out with survey model, is a descriptive one. Population of the research; is made up of 671 teachers in Burdur city center, who are on education labor branch and members of Türk Eğitim Sen, Eğitim Bir-Sen, Eğitim Sen and Eğitim İş unions. Sample includes 227 teachers who were chosen with stratified sampling method. Data, in accord with the aim of the research, were analyzed with frequency, ( ) mean, correlation, regression and ANOVA. According to research findings; while the most important work value of the teachers is to take decisions on their own when needed, the least important work value is between high relation interaction justice perceptions. Work values, at the most, affect perception of interaction justice. Regarding work values and organizational justice, there is difference among teacher perceptions according to unions they are members of.
