Abstract
The purpose of this study was to developing the quality of the time period that fathers spare for their children at 3-6 ages. The study was executed with 30 volunteer fathers, 16 of which are in experiment group and 14 of which are in the control group. The model with pre-test post-test control group was used in this study. The data of the research were obtained by the “Time Quality Determination Survey” developed by the researcher and “Emphatic Tendency Scale” developed by Dökmen. In the research, “Father Education Program”, developed by the researcher, was used. This program was applied in totally 10 sessions which were divided into 2 hour sessions in the weekends. Non parametric statistics were used in the analysis of the data. According to the findings, it was observed that “The Program For Fathers Education” increases the quality of the time fathers spare for their children positively.
