GENRE AND DISCURSIVE ANALYSIS OF WOMEN S PROGRAMS BY MEANS OF DISPLACEMENT OF PRIVACY: THE CASE OF DENIZLI

In the study, the reasons for watching women’s programs of women living in Denizli, women s opinions about these programs and how women are positioned in these programs were analyzed in the context of genres and discursive features of these programs. In this study, for a total of 240 women, all living in Denizli, were asked to fill in survey forms in order to collect data. The data was processed by the SPSS for Windows 11.0 package program. The difference between women for the reasons of watching women’s programs and in their benefiting from women’s programs was checked using the khi-square test. The comprehension level was taken at the level of 0.5. As a result of this research, the majority of women in the universe of women s programs of research programs, particularly marriage, to spend time away from everyday problems, with their subjective experiences of participants in the programs by establishing a parallel between the experiences and appreciation for many different reasons such as to relieve themselves prefer to watch.
